MCN Celebrates 70 years with 112-page bumper issue

Wrapped inside a special glossy cover, the commemorative edition features a look back at the top stories from every era; celebrates the iconic Yamaha RD350LC; and discovers whether a Gen-Z rider can handle a 1955s machine. MCN also invites readers to vote for the greatest bike of all time from a list of 70 stand-out machines, plus news from Norton about their future plans.

Andy Calton, Director of Brand and Content (Auto and Specialist) said: “We’re extremely proud to be celebrating 70 years as the world’s leading motorcycling publication with this special issue.  It’s a powerful testament to passion, dedication, and trust from our loyal motorcycling community.  For seven decades, we’ve been at the heart of motorcycling—bringing riders the latest news, honest reviews, unforgettable stories, and a shared love for life on two wheels. Here’s to 70 years of the ride so far, and many more miles to go!”

Emma Franklin, Editor, added: “Biking – and media – might’ve changed to almost unrecognisable levels compared to the simpler days of 1955, when MCN first hit the newsstands, but there’s one thing which hasn’t – motorcyclists. We’re a rare and special breed, united and galvanised by our passion for two wheels and an engine. That same passion is what has driven MCN over the past 70 years to provide our readers with everything they need to enjoy their motorcycling in the best possible way, whether that’s helping them buy the best bike, ensuring that they enjoy every precious moment of riding time, or just keeping them excited about biking through those long winter months. So, it’s a heartfelt thank you on behalf of me and the entire MCN team for supporting us over 70 years, and we hope everyone enjoys this very special issue.”
