The workflow edge: turning editorial operations into competitive advantage

In collaboration with:

How leading publishers are redesigning workflows, integrating AI, and aligning teams to drive performance, scale, and revenue in an increasingly unpredictable discovery landscape.

Join us and WP Engine, on Wednesday 24 June (9:00-11:30am) for an editorial workflow masterclass and a morning of networking.

Editorial workflow is no longer just an operational concern, it’s a strategic lever for growth. As search traffic becomes more unpredictable and AI-driven discovery reshapes how audiences find content – the publishers pulling ahead are those rethinking how work gets done.

In a landscape where discoverability can no longer be taken for granted, operational efficiency, editorial agility, and connected workflows are becoming critical competitive advantages.

What to expect

At this PPA Demo Day, WP Engine and senior publishing leaders, including Charlotte Cijffers (Chief Digital Officer, ITP Media Group) will share how they’re evolving publishing workflows to stay ahead in the age of AI. Bringing an international perspective, Charlotte will explore how editorial operations are being optimised at scale across diverse brands, markets and audiences.

Alongside a practical demonstration of WP Engine’s Newsroom platform, the session will explore how modern publishers are adapting to a rapidly changing publishing environment. Balancing speed with governance, supporting editorial creativity while reducing operational friction, and creating more connected ways of working across editorial, product and commercial teams.

Expect practical insight into how publishers are building workflows that not only improve efficiency, but strengthen audience engagement, commercial performance and long-term resilience in an AI-shaped media landscape.

Who is this for?

Anyone in executive, editorial, audience & engagement, growth & revenue, and product & data roles.

This is a free event for PPA members
